(i)   Invitation to Participate in the Charity Bicycle Ride

We are pleased to inform that the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI) is organizing the "Carbon Neutral Activities – Putrajaya Charity Bicycle Ride" on 6th October 2013 (Sunday). 

The objectives of the event are to foster the relationship amongst Members, to promote eco-friendly and healthy lifestyle, to promote inbound tourism with cycling activities at Putrajaya, to understand Putrajaya as a federal administrative centre of Malaysia and as part of the welfare activities of KLSCCCI, the Chamber will donate bicycles to charitable organizations after the cycling event.
 
The event is supported by Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC). Details are as follows:

The nature of this activity is for leisure and promoting Putrajaya as a tourism attraction. The participants are welcomed to participate in this outdoor activity. A pit stop will be setup at Empangan Park Putrajaya (around 6km away from the flag off point) for a short briefing of the attraction by officers from Perbadanan Putrajaya and photograph session.
 
  (ii)        Appeal for Sponsorship
 
As one of the objectives set by the Council, "To Contribute to the Social Community", KLSCCCI will arrange a bicycle donation presentation ceremony to donate bicycles to charitable organizations and relevant agencies after the event.  In this regard, we would be very much obliged if all members to participate in this charity ride and sponsoring cash (as funding for the event)  or bicycles for charity purpose.

Members who are interested may return the completed registration form and the registration fee to KLSCCCI’s Secretariat before 20th September 2013 (Friday).
