The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) is pleased to invite your company to participate in the Showcase Malaysia which will be held in Bangalore, India from 29th May to 31st May 2014.
2. Bangalore is the capital city of the Indian state of Karnataka. It is also known as Bengaluru. Bangalore is India’s fifth-largest metropolitan area and is now a top 100 global city economy. Bangalore is India's third most populous city. The city has turned into a major commercial, industrial, and cultural hub in South India. With its stable economic and political environment, Bangalore has emerged as the “hottest business destination in India” and also as the “Silicon Valley” of India due to the agglomeration of high-tech companies. It also has a strategic location in the Southern Peninsula, besides a welcoming and multifarious city culture. Karnataka recorded the highest growth rates in term of GDP in the last decade compared to other states in India. Karnataka contribute 5.49% of India`s GDP.
3. Showcase Malaysia, Bangalore; is a single-country exhibition tailored exclusively for Malaysian exporters to showcase their products and services in the city of Bangalore. This event will further enhance the existence of made in Malaysia products to the business communities as well as to the consumers in India. This event will serve as one of the platforms to connect Malaysian companies with Indian Companies. MATRADE will be highlighting quality Malaysian products and services in focused sectors namely; Electrical & Electronic Product, ICT Related Product, Palm Oil & Related Products, Building Materials, Construction & Infrastructure, Franchise, Healthcare Services, Lifestyle (Furniture & Personal Care Products), Food & Beverages.
4. Concurrent to the event, MATRADE will be organising an individual business meeting for the exhibitors with potential Indian business communities to assist participants to achieve their objective of participating in this event. Eligible SME, Trade Associations, Chambers and Cooperatives can claim for a new Market Development Scheme (MDG). More information on MDG can be obtained from our portal (http://www.matrade.gov.my/en/malaysia-exporters-section/116/2272-new-mdg-guidelines-2012).
