One can still achieve a great deal after retirement. This forum is intended to bring together retirees in their transitioning to a new phrase of an engaging and rewarding life - building something fruitful, as well as putting valuable experiences and talents into good use. We will share, in this forum, how retirees can still contribute a lot to economic and community development, either locally or regionally.
2 prominent speakers have been invited to give an insight on how one can make fruitful use of one’s talents and skills after retirement. And a third speaker will touch on the mental aspects of retirement:
Mr. Soo Cheong Futt – Vice President of Expertise Resource Association (ERA). A retired senior director of Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), who's known for his untiring devotion providing training and consultancy for local SMEs.
Encik Mahbob Abdulllah – He has written, after his retirement, two very entertaining books on his experiences and has two more in the pipeline. He has stayed very active post retirement and also a very inspirational and engaging speaker.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Andrew Mohanraj – a well-known psychiatrist. He will share his expert views and speak on the mental aspects of retirement where he has done extensive work on the subject. He has deep insight into various psychiatric aspects and/or concerns very relevant of our modern day society across all ages.
Participation fee is RM80.00 per person (inclusive of an inspiring book) and refreshment will be served at 8.30 am. Enclosed herewith programme and registration form for further action.
