Vietnam Expo 2012

MATRADE will be organising the Vietnam Expo 2012 in Ho Chi Minh City from 28th Nov – 1st December 2012.

Vietnam is a rapidly emerging market, offering vast opportunity for Malaysian exporters and investors to further expand their trade & investment initiatives. Vietnam’s economic growth has been among the highest in the world, expanding at an average of about 7.2% between 2001-2010. In the first quarter of 2012, the country’s GDP recorded an increase of 4% as compared to the same period in 2011. Malaysia ranked as the 8th largest trading partner for Vietnam in 2011, total trade valued at USD6.14 billion and the 6th largest export destination, totalling to USD 2.54 billion.

The participation fee is RM8,000.00 for a standard shell scheme booth of 9 square metres. Other travel expenses such as airfare and hotel, as well as the delivery / return of samples are to be borne individually. Eligible SMEs are entitled to Market Development Grant (MDG).
