Invitation to the Government Transformation Programme 2.0
ACCCIM received an invitation from Performance Management & Delivery Unit (PEMANDU), Prime Minister’s Department to invite ACCCIM members to attend the above-mentioned open days.
The Government Transformation Programme (GTP) proposed by the Hon. Prime Minister in 2009 has progressed well and delivered most of its committed targets in the last two years. As the GTP programmes and deliverables concludes by the end of this year, the Hon. Prime Minister has decided to extend the GTP and develop new programmes and targets for the next three (2013-2015).
The Government Transformation Programme 2.0 Laboratory (GTP 2.0 Lab), encompassing the seven (7) National Key Result Areas (NKRA), was conducted from April 23rd until May 31st, 2012 to map out new strategies, programmes and initiatives to address the key areas of concern of the “rakyat” while supporting Malaysia’s transformation into a developed and high income nation.
The GTP 2.0 Labs, which involved the participation of Ministries, Government Agencies, Non Government Organisations as well as the private sector, had identified programs and initiatives that matter the most to the “rakyat”. Implementation plans were also developed to ensure all the initiatives deliver the intended results.
In the spirit of inclusiveness, PEMANDU is organising GTP2.0 Open Days to showcase the detail of the finding, and to obtain valuable feedback from the business community and “rakyat” concerning these initiatives. PEMANDU will be organising Open Days scheduled as bellow (please see Appendix 1 for programme details):

GTP2.0 Open Day- Kota Kinabalu
Date : 14th August 2012 (Tuesday)
Time : 9.00 am – 4.00 pm
Venue : Sutera Harbour, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
ACCCIM is invited to send 20 members to attend each of the above-mentioned Open Day respectively held in Kuala Lumpur, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.
Constituent Chambers are kindly requested to disseminate the information to members so as to encourage participation.
Interested members are requested to return the attached registration form to ACCCIM Secretariat, for GTP2.0 Open Day in Kuala Lumpur before July 19th, 2012, and GTP2.0 Open Day in Kuching and in Kota Kinabalu before August 2nd, 2012.
