Invitation to the Seminar on Trade & Investment Opportunities in African Countries

For your kind information, Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) in collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia will be organising ‘Third Country Training Programme – Investment Promotion for African Countries’, from 11-21 October 2016. This year, 15 officials from African Investment Promotion Agencies will be participating in this training programme. The objectives of the training programme are as follows: 

 

i.        To enhance investment and trade opportunities between Malaysia and the participating countries; 

 

ii.        To provide an insight on MIDA’s organisational mechanism in promoting investment and coordinating industrial development in the manufacturing and services sectors in Malaysia; and 

 

iii.        To establish networking between MIDA and Investment Promotion Agencies of the participating countries. 

 

In conjunction with this training programme, we will be organizing a ‘Seminar on Trade & Investment Opportunities in African Countries’. The objectives of the seminar are as follows:

·        To share information on trade and investment opportunities in African countries; 

·        To initiate potential B2B Engagement with the African countries; 

·        To create opportunity for participants to network with associations, Chambers of Commerce and industry players.
