Imposition of Import Licenses on Other Alloy Steel Products

The Government has announced that the importation of eight tariff lines of alloy steel products will be subject to licensing requirements from 15th June 2012. The imposition of import licence on these products was gazetted under the Customs (Prohibition of Imports) (Amendment) (No.2) Order 2012 on 12th June 2012.

Enclosed please find a copy of letter from Ministry of International Trade and Industry and the above mentioned Customs (Amendment) Order pertaining to the above matter for your reference.
