As informed by the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM), the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) will organize the SSM Annual Dialogue (Kuala Lumpur) 2014 on 19th June 2014 (Thursday).

 

The objective of this dialogue is to provide a platform for private sector organisations to address issues related to services, legislatives and policies of SSM.

 

Members of KLSCCCI are requested to provide relevant views and proposals (please refer to attachment) and submit to ACCCIM latest by 2nd June 2014 (Monday). SME Corporation Malaysia is proposing to formulate Malaysia's very own National Small and Medium Enterprises Act (hereinafter referred to as "NSME Bill 2014" or "the proposed Bill") with the purpose of not only assisting the SMEs in Malaysia but also to encourage Malaysians to embark into the industry that will eventually contribute to the Nation's GDP.  SME Corp. is now identifying areas of interest to be included as part of the proposed Bill and herewith conducting a survey to identify the needs and problems faced by the SMEs that can be addressed through the implementation of the proposed Bill.

 

Kindly participate in the survey by providing your feedback and views to allow SME Corp. to proceed further and to ensure that the proposed Bill will boost the development of the industry to a whole new level. 

 

Please feel free to include any additional comments wherever you deem necessary or relevant issues that should be raised in the proposed Bill, and submit the completed survey to SME Corp. before/on 31 July 2014.
